Syria Stationery Drive

The first project of COH was the Syria Stationery Drive that launched on 22 October 2013. COH member and Graphic designer Rashaad Sallie designed an eye catching logo and thus began the work of facilitating drop off points for the stationery. More than 60 drop offs were facilitated and brand new stationery began pouring in. Various schools participated in this initiative and generous donations were made by companies like Statesman Stationers, Fine Cash and Carry Newcastle and Favourite Stationers Newcastle. COH was the first organisation in SA to do a stationery run for Syria and Alhamdulillah it was a tremendous success.
